The lightest three-layer stretch GORE-TEX INFINIUM ™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric has been used making this jacket suitable for mild conditions. Its elasticity gives the jacket an excellent fit. This is the same outer fabric used for the Alpha RoS 2 Jacket, which Cyclingnews.com has defined as “the benchmark for performance that the best winter jacket should offer”. But the Go Jacket does without the built-in lining of the Alpha model, allowing you to choose the degree of insulation you need. Add a Flanders Warm layer and a thermal shirt to bring comfort even in sub-zero temperatures. But the qualities of the fabric are only the starting point. The fit has been tailored to be snug but not overly tight. This gives the jacket a perfect fit, complemented by details such as the seamless trim on the hem and the colored front pocket with zip. The hidden inner cuffs offer a nice touch of comfort, and you will appreciate how they keep the wind from entering your wrists. On the back there are three pockets with a large reflective strip that extends across the bottom of the pockets to make you highly visible at night. As for the warmth it offers, it is similar to the Perfetto RoS W Long Sleeve model but with a more studied and elegant look, with a slightly wider fit and with a slightly lower degree of protection in the presence of humid weather.
