Adaptive materials allow for the natural movement of the foot where necessary for greater comfort, while zonal reinforcement d on collected data keeps the foot wrapped for sharp power output and optimal efficiency. Driven by over 100,000 foot scans from RET?L data, Specialized recognized that both a standard and a wide sole would be suitable to best accommodate the full spectrum of human foot shapes. An internal reinforcement adds stiffness and durability. The result is a weight reduction of 20 grams, increased efficiency, and immediate power transfer.
