Mega Yacht is the result of founder Jacob Smith"s obsession with luxury fashion combined with his inability to afford it. A fan of streetwear and Gucci, Smith resorted to making obviously bootleg clothing with his favorite designers" logos and names on them. The simple project proved to be fruitful when singer Ariana Grande requested one of his T-shirts during a photoshoot. From that point on, the brand has been on the rise, slowly releasing bootleg merch, mixing designer names and pop culture icons, for an audience of customers just like Smith.
